Drive Audit log is a service that offers advanced search across your corporate Google Drive. It is available in the following versions :Frontline; Business Standard and Business Plus, Enterprise edition Education Fundamentals, Standard, Teaching and Learning Upgrade, and Plus; G Suite Business; Essentials
As an administrator, you can use Drive audit log - the Drive audit log - to record user activity in your organization. The log includes content that users create in Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and other Google Workspace applications, and content that users upload to Drive, such as PDFs and Microsoft Word files.
Where can I find the Drive audit log?
The Drive audit log is part of the Reports section in the Admin Console. In the Audit subsection, you'll find the Drive section, and here you can search for activity by several possible criteria.
How do I use the log?
There are numerous ways to filter activities related to Drive. For example, you can filter by user or by activity type. It is even possible to set your own criteria. Whichever way you choose, you get a better overview of the activities on Drive.
